â¶Ä‹â€‹The recruiting process consists of two parts:
School-based recruitment:
Collaborate with district enrollment staff to obtain enrollment lists of new students at the district. This list includes students who may be identified as English Language learners and those whose parents check off (agricultural worker) in the enrollment form, including students that indicate moves from various locations. These lists are used to call and screen potential Migrant families.
Building relationships with school secretaries/Liaisons so they can provide us with possible referrals.
We use annual contacts as opportunities for recruitment, such as:
When there is a new qualifying move, then a new COE is completed.
Asking for new family referrals.
â¶Ä‹End of Eligibility (EOE) list of families are called from the last three year to determine when a new move was made.
